Greenwich Department of Human Services Launches Community Coat Drive

The Board of Human Services, in partnership with the Greenwich Department of Human Services Fund, announces the start of the 2025 Greenwich Coat Drive. This annual initiative helps ensure that children, families, and individuals in need can stay warm throughout the winter.

Community members are invited to donate new or gently used winter coats for children and adults. Every coat donated provides warmth and comfort to a neighbor in need.

Coat Donation Details:

Drop-off Dates: October 6 – November 7, 2025

Donation Locations:

· Athena Books: 228 Sound Beach Ave

· Byram Shubert Library: 21 Mead Ave

· Greenwich Library: 101 West Putnam Ave

· Greenwich Town Hall Lobby: 101 Field Point Rd

· Perrot Library: 90 Sound Beach Ave

All donated coats will be distributed locally to Greenwich residents who require assistance this winter.

“Every coat makes a difference,” said the Board of Human Services. “Together, we can make sure no one in our community faces the cold without warmth.”
