For 50 years the mission at Neighbor to Neighbor has remained essentially the same. Neighbor to Neighbor improves the lives of residents in need throughout the Greenwich area and strengthens our community by creating access to food, clothing, and basic living essentials in an atmosphere of kindness and respect.
This month is the time to recognize volunteerism and Neighbor to Neighbor would not have been able to provide for the residents they serve without the dedicated volunteers.
Look back at the past 50 years and think about the families that have received assistance and the schools, churches and individuals who have provided support through food drives and donations. Neighbor to Neighbor is very grateful for the volunteers who have contributed their time and treasure.
On April 24th at the Hyatt we will honor the work of the past 50 years as we prepare to continue to serve residents in need in the years ahead. Please join us by purchasing a ticket to greet many of the people who have been involved with Neighbor to Neighbor and hear from Chef Marcus Samuelson whose Philanthropy “Careers Through Culinary Arts Program” educates and guides underserved high school students toward a successful future. Tickets are available on our website www.ntngreenwich.org. Be part of supporting the past and assisting us to meet the needs of Greenwich residents in need now and in the future.
