Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz will deliver the keynote address at the Greenwich Women’s Conference on March 29. Speaking to an audience of more than 200 attendees, Bysiewicz will discuss the role of women in shaping policy, advocating for progress, and creating opportunities for future generations
Bysiewicz is serving her second term as Connecticut’s 109th lieutenant governor. She previously held off ice as Connecticut’s Secretary of the State from 1999 to 2011 and as a state representative from 1993 to 1999. A graduate of Yale University and Duke Law School, she has worked extensively in public service and authored Ella: A Biography of Governor Ella Grasso.
Bysiewicz is a proud granddaughter of immigrants who came to Connecticut from Poland and Greece with nothing but hope for a better future. After years of factory work, they saved enough to buy a farm in Middletown, where Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz would later live. Growing up and working on the farm, she and her siblings learned the values of hard work, education, and persistence.
This year’s conference, themed “On Balance and Perspective,” features workshops on personal growth, leadership, and faith.
The conference runs from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm and is also a networking opportunity.
Tickets are $110 and include lunch. Registration is open online here: https://www.christchurchgreenwich.org/womens-conference-2025 or by email at womensconference@christchurchgreenwich.org.
