“The above screen shot from the Town of Greenwich Website explains about a Text Scam going around regarding unpaid parking fines/tickets.
The Town of Greenwich does not attempt to solicit payment in this manner.
No matter what type of bill a Text or Email is claiming to be for, especially if you were not expecting one, you should contact the alleged party directly and not through a link attached to the Text or Email.
The Town and Police Department is looking into this incident with further details to follow when they become available.”
