River House, a nonprofit organization supporting local families in need, will host a free community event on Monday, November 25 at 1:30 PM at 125 River Road Ext., in Cos Cob. The event will raise awareness about the resources available to families facing hardship and offer a chance for community members to connect with local service providers.
“Our goal is to connect families with valuable resources and spread the word about the programs we offer to support those in need. This event is a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and learn how River House can make a difference. We will make a few laps around our parking lot!”
In addition, discussions about River House’s services, attendees will have the chance to receive informational materials and some pumpkin pie and apple cider. The event is open to everyone, regardless of whether they are currently receiving services.
