Friends:
I am truly honored and deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me to be your State Representative. This morning, the final election results were confirmed, and I received a very gracious call from my opponent, Rachel Khanna. Thank you to Representative Khanna for her service to the 149th District and our state. I also extend my respect to her for a hard-fought race and for her gracious show of sportsmanship today.
Thank you to everyone who made this campaign possible. Thank you to my family, friends, volunteers, supporters, advisors, town and state leaders, and campaign interns for all your hard work. Thank you to the Greenwich and Stamford Republican Town Committees for your support. Thank you to the House Republican Campaign Committee and CT G OP for your guidance. Thank you to my fellow candidates beside whom I was proud to stand each and every time.
Most of all, thank you to the voters who have entrusted me with this privilege and responsibility. I learned so much throughout the campaign about the issues that are important to you. Now begins the work of addressing those issues. I was also reminded time and time and time again that this is a community of decent, hard-working, honest, and positive people, and that there is much more that unites us than divides us.
Thank you for putting your faith in me. I am humbled by the responsibility, and I promise to carry it with integrity, respect, and a tireless commitment to our community. I look forward to working alongside each of you to create a brighter future for Greenwich, Stamford and our entire state.
With sincere thanks,
Tina
