From the Greenwich Police Department:
“As you may be aware from your cell phone alerts that there is a 911 System Communications Outage in parts of Connecticut and New York.
This outage seems to be primarily affecting the landline voice system for calls.
If you need emergency assistance, please try calling 911 from a cell phone. If you are unable to reach 911 via the call, you can try texting 911 within the State of CT.
State officials and vendors are working to resolve the issue.”
