Kids Step Back in Time in Final Week of Time Travelers KidStudio

In the final week of Greenwich Historical Society’s Time Travelers KidStudio, children will have fun experimenting with crafts that were popular during the American Revolution. Docents will offer instruction on how to create aluminum foil tinware on Wednesday, August 28th from 12 – 4pm, and they will be taught how to write a letter to a loved one with a quill pen on Saturday, August 31, from 12 – 4pm.

These interactive, docent-led activities offer a timely bridge to the Historical Society’s upcoming exhibit focused on Greenwich during the Revolutionary War, opening on October 16th.

The Time Travelers KidStudio is an imaginative, walk-in interactive and educational studio space to make crafts and learn more about local history. Regular features include a comfy reading corner, with bean-bag chairs, wall mural, coloring pages, bookmark making, and interactive games – all in a fun informal setting.

The KidStudio is open during regular museum hours Wednesday through the final day of the season on Saturday, August 31st from 12 – 4 pm. Kids up to age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
