The following is a statement from Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo regarding statements made by State Rep. Anabel Figueroa in a video interview.
“I was disturbed to hear about the comments made by State Rep. Anabel Figueroa. Those remarks have no place in our political discourse and they come at a time when anti-Semitic incidents are happening in Stamford. Those kinds of comments should not be tolerated and it’s one of the reasons why I formed the Antisemitism & Anti-Hate Task Force. Hatred and bigotry against any group has no place in Greenwich or any other place in the civilized world.”
