The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) has unveiled its newly appointed Board of Directors and Management Team for the 2024-25 term, led by President Stacey Higdon. This announcement marks a significant step forward for the League, particularly with the introduction of a pivotal new role within the Board of Directors.
A stand-out feature of this year’s appointments is the creation of the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), a position that will be held by Tiffanie Gray. This role underscores the League’s intensified commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within its operations and community initiatives. Previously, these responsibilities fell under the Director at Large, but the establishment of a dedicated DEIB role signals a deepened dedication to advancing these principles throughout the League’s mission.
“We are proud to formalize the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging role as part of our ongoing efforts to embrace and celebrate diversity within our organization and the Greenwich community,” said President Stacey Higdon.
As the JLG looks ahead to the new term, the Board and Management Team are preparing to launch a series of impactful projects and community events. Among the highlights is the much-anticipated return of The Enchanted Forest, an annual event set to captivate visitors at the Bruce Museum this November. This year’s iteration promises new additions and surprises for attendees of all ages, ensuring a memorable experience.
In its ongoing outreach efforts, the Junior League is inviting women interested in becoming members to attend one of its Open Houses this fall. These events will offer insights into the organization’s mission, initiatives, and membership opportunities, providing a platform for prospective members to learn how they can contribute to positive change in the Greenwich community.
