Anastasia Healy, a former Conde Nast editor and travel writer, has authored a new book titled “100 Things to Do in Connecticut Before You Die,” which explores the state's diverse attractions across five categories: food and drink, music and entertainment, sports and recreation, culture and history, and shopping and fashion. During her presentation, Healy highlighted various unique sites and activities, such as the Thimble Islands sightseeing tour, Gillette Castle, and the Connecticut Art Trail Passport, emphasizing lesser-known attractions and the importance of supporting local businesses. She also shared interesting historical anecdotes and recommended exploring beyond well-trodden tourist spots to uncover Connecticut's rich history and natural beauty.
