Saving our Saltwater Marshes
Audubon's Oneida Sanctuary preserves and provides access to an increasingly rare tidal wetland ecosystem in downtown Greenwich. While pressures from development, invasive species, and climate change have led to significant declines in these ecosystems, they continue to play a critical role in the health and resiliency of CTs coastal communities. Planned efforts to restore the Oneida Sanctuary will enable the space to provide both vibrant wildlife habitat and a hub for community education and recreation.
