Day Road Closures for Tomac Avenue, Harding Road, and Forest Avenue
Drainage Improvements Project in Area Makes Headway
There will be daytime road closures at the intersection of Tomac Avenue, Harding Road, and Forest Avenue on Thursday, May 2, Friday, May 3, and Monday, May 6 for road subbase reconstruction. The road will be closed during construction hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with police presence to redirect traffic. The road will reopen at the end of each construction day.
On Tuesday, May 7, and Wednesday, May 8, alternating traffic will occur on Tomac Avenue for road subbase reconstruction. Construction hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and police will be present during these construction days as well.
The Town of Greenwich is reminding the public to be mindful of the construction zone and to plan their route accordingly. This work is part of the Tomac Avenue, Harding Road, and Forest Avenue Drainage Improvements Project.
