Round Hill Community Church invites the community to “Earth Day – It’s for the Birds!”, a special Earth Day worship service on Sunday, April 21 at 10 a.m.

The service will celebrate the beauty of our planet and reflect on our responsibility to care for it. Following the service, attendees are invited to get a cup of coffee and a snack on their way outside to watch Skyhunters in Flight, a dynamic educational program featuring trained wild birds of prey including owls, hawks, and falcons.

The exhibition will be led by Teddy and Brian Bradley. Brian, a Master Falconer, has over thirty years of experience training and flying raptors. Teddy explains, “It is our hope that while everyone is being entertained, they also understand how important these animals are to the environment.”

Round Hill Community Church is a Green House of Worship. The church received a Certificate of Achievement from the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network, for implementing eco-friendly measures on its campus and within the community. In 2022, solar panels were installed on the church’s buildings. In partnership with the Town of Greenwich’s Food Scrap Recycling Program, RHCC opened a Compost Drop-Off Station on campus. Round Hill also has an active Eco-Action Committee, committed to reducing their carbon footprint.

Round Hill Community Church is located at 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich. For more information, visit roundhillcommunitychurch.org or call 203-869-1091.
