Mary Hull Announces Retirement as Executive Director of Greenwich Green & Clean

Mary Hull

Mary Hull has announced her retirement as Executive Director of Greenwich Green & Clean (GG&C) after more than three decades of dedicated service to the Greenwich community.

Mary’s involvement with GG&C began in 1988, just two years after the establishment of GG&C, when she joined the organization to serve as a Public Relations Coordinator. Soon thereafter, Mary was appointed Executive Director and served in that capacity until her retirement, announced today. Under her leadership, GG&C expanded its outreach, forging collaborative partnerships with businesses, like-minded local organizations, and concerned citizens to enhance the beauty of the Town. Mary’s dedication has inspired our community to support local conservation efforts and fostered a culture of environmental consciousness, establishing GG&C as a beacon of environmental stewardship and community engagement.

Mary has served on the boards of many civic organizations dedicated to enriching the quality of life in Greenwich. Her passion, vision, and tireless advocacy have touched the lives of many and will undoubtedly inspire future generations.

Peter Malkin, Founding Chairman of Greenwich Green & Clean, expressed his gratitude to Mary for her exceptional contribution to our community, stating, “We hasten to thank you for a job so well done. The continued success of GG&C will be a testament to what you have accomplished. Greenwich is a better town because of your leadership.” John Blankley, Chairman of Greenwich Green & Clean, seconded the remarks of Peter Malkin and added, “In our town, supported by so many volunteers, no one has been more selflessly devoted to the betterment and beautification of our town than Mary Hull.”

The Board of Greenwich Green & Clean extends its heartfelt appreciation for Mary’s unparalleled dedication to the organization and to the community.
