North Street School Girl Scouts learned first aid from Greenwich High School EMT Girl Scout, Arden Rodriguez. Arden, an eleventh grader with Girl Scout Troop #50247 and GEMS Explorer Post emergency medical technician, inspired the Girl Scouts with real-life ambulance stories and hands-on first aid skills, including splints, stethoscopes and slings. Arden shared, “I had to really think how to explain everything simply and not use medical jargon with the littles. It was tricky!”
