‘Play With Your Food’ series returns to the Greenwich Arts Council

JIB Productions’ ‘Play With Your Food’ series returns to the Greenwich Arts Council on Thursday, January 18 with staged one-act plays and gourmet boxed lunches.

The program features Berthold Brecht’s short masterpiece “The Jewish Wife”. Featuring Broadway veteran Kate Katcher. Judith was a beloved wife, friend and bridge player until she became only Jewish. The line-up also includes Broadway’s Alison Cimmet with Jeremy Funke as they compare their ailments in I Just Sneezed with a Big Mouthful of Coffee and I Do Not Recommend it! by Scott Mullen. Rounding out the afternoon are Cimmet and Molly Garbe Brown as a mother and daughter going head-to-head over a pair of boots in Closing Hours by Ellen Abrams.

The program includes a boxed lunch provided by Meli Melo in Greenwich.

A talkback with the cast and director concludes the afternoon, Patrons are welcome to dine onsite or take their box lunches home with them.

Play With Your Food is the flagship program produced by not-for-profit arts organization JIB Productions, Inc. The series will continue monthly February 13-15, March 11-13 and April 9-11 for a total of four performances in each venue. Tickets are $65 each or $240 for a 4-month subscription ($20 savings).
