Judy Woeckener of Greenwich was recently honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for completing 4,008 hours of service as a Greenwich Hospital volunteer. The national award was created a decade ago to recognize the valuable contributions that volunteers make to the country.

Known for her upbeat and positive attitude, Woeckener has been a volunteer since 2010 and formerly served as the Thrift Shop chair on the Auxiliary Board of Directors. She currently volunteers at the Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop two times a week. Woeckener received the recognition at the Auxiliary’s annual meeting last month.
