In recognition of the incredible success of the Metro NY North PreResponder Campaign, which raised $2 million to modernize and expand operations in the Metro NY North Chapter, American Red Cross leadership and supporters hosted a closing celebration event on this Wednesday
The three-year fundraising effort, led by Red Cross Board Members Pam Farr, Heather Wise and Giovanna Miller, focused on building upgrades at the chapter headquarters facility in Greenwich. The new Jill and John Coyle Blood Donor Center on the 2nd floor of the building officially opened in September 2021, modernizing Blood Services operations available throughout the chapter. Two additional floors support the remaining core elements of the Red Cross mission: disaster response, Service to the Armed Forces, lifesaving skills training, and international services.
