Art and Flowers Blossom Together at McArdle’s Florist

Sandra Morgan and Laird Morgan Tolan of Sandra Morgan Interiors & Art Prive with Paul Morris Director of Floral Sales & Design at McArdle’s.

A vibrant fusion of contemporary art and exquisite oral arrangements has taken root at McArdle’s Florist on Arch Street. Sandra Morgan Interiors & Art Privé has unveiled their highly anticipated second Annual Summer Art Show. Collaborating with James McArdle, owner of the McArdle’s, and Paul Morris, Director of Floral Sales and Design, the event promises an enchanting experience for visitors seeking both artistic inspiration and oral delights.

Titled “Summer Dreams,” the show is accentuated by the radiant color palette of the season with over 20 captivating works from contemporary artists hailing from Connecticut, as well as far-flung places like Paris and Oklahoma. The exhibition is a dynamic blend of local talent and international air.

Sandy Morgan established her design studio in Greenwich in 1988. Since then, she has been an advocate for showcasing local and regional talent through Art Privé, the gallery within her design studio. The studio’s unique approach to combining art and design is further enhanced by the contributions of Laird Morgan Tolan, an interior designer and Sandra’s daughter, who brings her own distinct perspective on interior aesthetics and art. Together, they have forged a captivating path where the realms of art and design seamlessly merge, believing that every space is elevated by the presence of original artwork and the natural beauty of flowers and plants.

The contemporary collection of artworks on display at the Summer Art Show harmonizes with the essence of McArdle’s. The pieces, carefully curated, evoke a sense of wonder that complements the oral splendor within the iconic establishment.

Beyond the aesthetic pleasures, the Summer Art Show also carries a philanthropic purpose. A portion of the sales from the exhibited artworks will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Art enthusiasts and flower lovers alike are invited to experience this enchanting exhibit, open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5:30pm, until the end of August. For additional information, please contact Sandy (203) 629-8121 or email sandra@sandramorganinteriors.com.
