The First Bank of Greenwich in partnership with The Greenwich Arts Council’s Art to the Avenue program is hosting an Art Show Reception for Cos Cob-based artist Carolyn Gamanos, on Wednesday, June 7, 5:30-8:30pm. The event will be held at First Bank’s Cos Cob branch, 444 East Putnam Ave., and feature music by lifelong Greenwich resident, pianist and singer Al DiMarco, charcuterie by Captivating Charcuterie, sushi by Fjord Fish Market, and drinks by Val’s Putnam Wines & Liquors and Randy’s Wines & Spirits.
Carolyn studied studio art at Pitzer College in Claremont, California and has a master’s degree in education from Pace University in Manhattan. She currently teaches kindergarten through fifth grade art at Holmes Elementary School in Darien, and in her spare time, she paints murals and custom illustrations similar to the scenes in this show.
