The Undies Project Spring Fundraiser “Got Undies?” is underway

By Lucy Langley

The charity organization, The Undies Project, has launched an online campaign called, “Got Undies?” to raise funds to purchase new underwear for those who are homeless, living in shelters or who are on a low income. The goal of the campaign is to raise $10,000 and it will run until May 31.

The campaign includes a mini silent auction, as well as two testimonial videos that highlight the positive impact new underwear can make on the lives of those struggling to meet their basic needs.

The Undies Project’s mission is to improve the lives of men, women and children in need by providing them with new underwear. Despite being the most needed item of clothing, underwear is the most underdonated. The simple, daily necessity of clean underwear is often taken for granted, but it has a significant impact on hygiene, physical comfort, dignity, and self-esteem. For many underwear is a necessity, not a luxury. The Undies Project currently donates to 45 agencies who serve those in need.

Donations, bids for silent auction, and the videos can all be accessed at https://gotundies.givesmart.com.

The Undies Project is a registered 501(c)(3). For more information you can reach them at info@theundiesproject.org.
