Lauren Rabin to lead discussion on issues faced by women in the workplace

Christ Church Greenwich will host a casual gathering with Lauren Rabin, Selectwoman of Greenwich, to discuss issues women face in the workplace on Thursday, April 20, 7:00 – 8:00 pm. The event will be held in the Tomes-Higgins House on the Christ Church Campus, 216 East Putnam Ave.

According to her website, “Lauren Rabin is an active Greenwich resident and the current Selectwoman serving since December 2019. A former elected member of the Board of Education, a dedicated mother, wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and community advocate, Lauren has served on many diverse town boards and committees, giving back to the community, and loyally serving the town where she and her children were raised, and continues to call home.

In addition to Lauren’s community service positions, Lauren has a 30+ year career in Marketing, exclusively in the technology industry. In addition to her duties as Selectwoman, Lauren works part-time, marketing cybersecurity solutions for Secureworks, a Dell Technologies Company.

Lauren’s dedication to the Town and its residents is evident through her extensive community service resume as an active volunteer and Treasurer for several organizations.

Having experienced Greenwich Public Schools as a student, a mother, a PTA board member, and an elected member of the Board of Education, Lauren has unique insight into the ongoing needs and concerns of residents, parents, and children.”
