Waste Free Greenwich, Conservation Commission partner for annual ReThink Waste Fair

Waste Free Greenwich in partnership with Greenwich Conservation Commission will host once again the ReThink Waste Fair on Saturday, April 1, from 11am-3pm, at Christ Church Greenwich.

The fair is an engaging, family friendly event to explore ways to rethink waste through the 6 R’s: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair and Rot. Activities will include:

• Children’s activities

• Book exchange

• Composting information

• Cooking demo

• Eco-friendly vendors

• And much more!

Recycling Drive

Start collecting those hard to recycle items, drop off your stuff to recycle and stay for the fun. Please click on links for donation guidelines and recycling partners.

• Batteries (household – no automotive)

• Books: bring 2-3 for our book exchange; remaining books will be donated to Books4Everyone

• Bottles (glass & plastic) & cans – redeemable

• Eyeglasses & Hearing Aids

• Plastic bags, wrap and film
