Domenick Nicholas Esposito (93) of Riverside, CT passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022. As a mechanic by trade, he owned and operated a service station. He later put his ability to fix anything to work at Greenwich Housing Authority, where he devoted 20 years before retiring.
During his younger years, he played trumpet as a member of the Byram Veterans Marching band. He was passionate about the ocean and his lifelong membership with the Byram Shore Boat Club. There was nothing Dom enjoyed more than spending time with his family, outdoor gatherings, kids’ sports events, and playing slots at the casino. One call and he’d be there. Dom was known for his good fortune with scratch-offs, his love of hugs, kisses, and his dedication as a husband, father, “pop”, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law.
Domenick was married to the love of his life Janeth Esposito for 72 incredible years. He is survived by her, in addition to his three children, Barbara Caruso, Debra Inesta, and Scott Esposito, 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren whom he adored.
Domenick was predeceased by his 6 siblings, Angelo Esposito, Nicholas Esposito, Patsy Esposito, Rose Fletcher, Mary Sabia, and Joseph Esposito.
Services were held on Monday, January 2 at Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich.
