Theresa Siciliano

Theresa Trofibio Alfieri Siciliano, age 101, was taken to heaven on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Shelton, CT.

Theresa was born September 9th, 1921, at United Hospital in Port Chester, NY. The daughter of the late Concetta Poccia Trofibio and Phillip Trofibio from Frosinone, Italy. She married in 1944, Gianetto Alfieri from Italy who passed in 1977. She married Peter Siciliano in 1981 who passed away in 1992.
Theresa lived till the 80’s in Mamaroneck, NY working 40 years for TMC Technical Material Corp making computer chips. She moved to Greenwich in 1981 and worked for Deli Mart of Cos Cob and Darien owned by her stepson, Frank Siciliano, Bud-dees place, a deli owned by her daughter Dee Boskello, and Greenwich Taxi, owned by her son-in-law Buddy. She retired at the age of 95 moving up to Shelton, CT to live with her daughter, grandson, and family.

Theresa enjoyed cooking homemade pasta, sewing, crocheting. She was an active member of the Greenwich and Shelton Senior Centers and enjoyed traveling going to Italy 3 times, Hawaii, France and other places. She also loved the Yankees and rarely missed a game. She was honored on her 95th birthday at Yankee Stadium.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Dolores “Dee” Alfieri Boskello, Grandson Anthony Joseph Boskello, wife Christina, grandchildren Scotty (6) and Ella (2); granddaughter Ginette Merenski, Husband James, grandchild Ava (10); stepsons Frank Siciliano (Michelle); Peter Siciliano Jr. (Becky); sister-in-law Marilyn Trofibio-Smith; Cousin Nancy Poccia Lande and children; 27 nieces and nephews, 30 great-nieces and nephews, and 7 great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her Husband Gianetto Alfieri; Husband Peter Siciliano; Son Arthur Alfieri; son- in-law Joseph “Buddy” Boskello, brothers Augie Trofibio, wife Elizabeth; Phillip Trofibio; sister Annette Trofibio Guiliano, Husband Vincent Guiliano Sr and Nephew Vincent Guiliano Jr.
She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Calling hours were Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Castiglione’s Funeral Home, Greenwich. A Mass was held on Thursday, Dec. 29 at St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Greenwich.

In lieu of flowers, Theresa wanted all donations to go to a fund set up in her deceased sons-in-law name, The Greenwich Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 4627, Greenwich CT 06831, memo line: Joseph Boskello. The proceeds will go to a golf-interested needs-based candidate.
