
Sally M. Mann, 78, of Franklin passed away early Saturday morning, December 17, 2022 at home, following a long illness. Sally was born on September 30, 1944 in Greenwich, CT the daughter of the late Hans and Hazel (Wood) Norling. On April 6, 1963 she married David Mann in Brookfield, CT. Sally was a Supervisor at Henry Abbott Tech in Danbury, CT for many years. She was a member of the Washington Reading Club in Franklin, and an Auxiliary member of VFW Post 100, Bethel, CT. She enjoyed walking, and baking especially Christmas cookies. She loved her dogs, her friends, and her family.
Sally is survived by her loving family, her husband, David Mann, children, David Mann of Bethel, CT; Theresa (Peter) Palmer of Bethlehem, CT; grandchildren, Maryanne, Peter, Jr., (Kellie) and Mike, great-grandchildren, James, Robbie, Logan, Cameron, Oliver, Everlee, Elaina, Petey III, brother, James Norling of TN; brother and sister-in-law, Mark Mann, Southbury, CT; Linda (Larry) Dudley, Elaine (Al) Schellig of FL; Christine Willman, Bethel, CT; very special god daughter, Katelyn Jordan, special friend Sue Taggart and Donna Cox, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, William Norling, Ernest Norling and sister, Shirley Hubbell. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
