1960 – 2022
Maria Routh Terry, of Stonington CT, passed away suddenly on November 5, 2022 of a massive coronary. She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Terry and his family. She was the loving daughter of the late Carol M. O’Neil and the late Carlos J. Routh. Her sister Carin Routh predeceased her. She is survived by her siblings, Carlos (Wendy), Rick Deb), Nina, and Jim (Ellen). She is the cherished aunt to her niece Lexie Routhand, nephew, JohnCarlos RouthDaniel Routh, Patrick Routh. and Brendan Routh. She is the great-granddaughter of Frederick Miller, founder of The Miller Brewing Company.
Maria was a graduate of the Lower School of the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, (1974) The Canterbury School in New Milford, CT (1978) and Skidmore College (1982). She worked in the Boston Area as a Human Resource recruiter. She and her husband moved to Stonington, CT, where she was recently working at the Mystic Aquarium. She was an avid skier, boater and adored her cats.
A celebration of her life will take place early next spring.
