RMA Presents: The Wild Animal Sanctuary and Its Role in Ending the Captive Wildlife Crisis
There are many “surplus” or mistreated large wild carnivores and exotic animals kept in miserable conditions hidden from view in zoos and breeding facilities all over the world. Pat Craig’s Wild Animal Sanctuary rescues and cares for such animals at their huge facility on the plains of Colorado, providing a natural habitat to the animals and educational opportunities to the public. The sanctuary is constantly working with government agencies to save animals, such as those recently rescued from an Odessa zoo endangered by the war in Ukraine.
