Every year Riverside Garden Club members create lovely floral arrangement to display in their homes for the holidays. However, this year is different. This year members of the Club decided to share their talents to bring the beauty of the season to others. Thanks to Program Chair, Martha Marquand, who originated the idea, the Club created eleven beautiful floral arrangements for the following organizations in our community to enjoy: Riverside School, Eastern Middle School, North Mianus School, Perrot Library, River House Adult Day Center, The Hill House, Nathaniel Witherell and Edgehill.

The arrangements were created during the Club’s November 15 meeting and delivered that afternoon by members with a lovely tag designed by Eric Lee.

“We are so excited about this great idea to provide holiday cheer to various parts of our community where others can benefit from our talented members’ ability to create gorgeous floral arrangements” said Cindy Lindemeyer, RGC President. “We hope to continue this tradition going forward”.

Those interested in joining the Riverside Garden Club can email riversidectgardenclub@gmail.com. The first two meetings are free! To learn more about the Club, go to riversidectgardenclub.org or view us on Facebook at https:/facebook.com/riversidectgardenclub
