Greenwich resident nominated for SAMMIES award

Samantha Sutton, of Greenwich, has been recognized as a finalist for a 2022 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal. Ms. Sutton played an important behind-the-scenes role across three presidential administrations as an adviser on U.S. policy toward Israel and the Palestinians.

The nonpartisan, nonprofit Partnership for Public Service has just celebrated the 2022 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals (Sammies) finalists. The Sammies, or the “Oscars” of government service, are the premier awards program recognizing America’s outstanding public servants in government. Since its inception in 2002, the Sammies have honored more than 600 federal employees. You can see the full list of 2022 finalists here.
