CT Residents Facing Higher Prices

Yesterday, FOX61 reported Connecticut is expected to face the highest increase in home heating prices this winter. This comes just days after OPEC+ decided to cut its oil production by 2 million barrels and as markets brace for September’s inflation and Consumer Price Index report.

Promoting American energy independence, Leora Levy issued a statement urging voters to support common-sense energy policies.

“Rising prices are already pushing family budgets to the limit, and now Connecticut residents face a substantial increase in home heating prices this winter too. That is unacceptable, especially when America has some of the largest energy reserves in the world. Families and small businesses suffer because of Biden and Blumenthal’s decision to curb American energy independence in favor of their radical Green Dream agenda.

“With a change in leadership comes a change in priorities. Unlike Dick Blumenthal, voters know that I will fight to make life affordable again for Connecticut families. That means putting a stop to out-of-control government spending, increasing American energy production and promoting American energy jobs.”
