On Monday October 3, Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA), Greenwich Hospital and both First and Second Selectmen of Greenwich kicked off Breast Cancer awareness month by raising the BCA flag at Greenwich Town Hall. The flag will remain for the entirety of October to raise awareness and support BCA’s mission.

It was also a time to mark the commencement of GoForPink, BCA’s month-long initiative during which partners near and far will donate a percentage of proceeds to BCA. Some highlights include:
• Fashion partners with special shopping days, or exclusive online promotions, throughout the month include Veronica Beard, Jenni Kayne, Ba&sh, Vince, Dudley Stephens, J. McLaughlin, Kay Jewelers and many more!
• Riko’s in Stamford and Norwalk on 3 days during the month of October will give 10% back to BCA
• Certain items or specialty cocktails at these local dining spots will benefit BCA all month long: Meli-Melo, Le Fat Poodle, Hinoki, Versailles Patisserie
• Chopt, and Gregorys Coffee, Gofer Ice Cream, among others, will donate proceeds from the whole month to BCA
