RTM District 9, which includes Glenville, Pemberwick, Bailiwick , West Lyon Farm and the areas in between, has an opening for another member. They will be interviewing candidates and voting in a new member on Thursday, September 15 at 7:30 PM at the Western Greenwich Civic Center.
The RTM is the legislative body of the town. It approves expenditures, reviews the town budget and can reduce or eliminate items. It can initiate ordinances and reviews and votes on all ordinances. It approves or rejects nominations to town boards among other duties. If you want to become involved in how Greenwich is managed, consider joining the RTM.
