
Henry William Pascarella “Hawk” died on June 23 at Whitney Center, Hamden. He was born in New Haven on August 15, 1933 to John Manlio and Mary (lannotti) Pascarella.
Henry, a member of its storied varsity basketball team, graduated from Wilbur Cross High School 1951, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania 1955, and Yale Law School 1958. In 1967, he married Tessa Peruzzi de Medici, and they settled in Greenwich. In 1970, they acquired Timber Trails, a forested property in Sherman, CT, and resided there until returning to Greenwich in the early 1990s. Henry had a broad law practice in real estate development and trusts and estates. Bar: Conn. 1958, U.S. Supreme Court 1963. Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Tessa, and brother, John. He is survived by his sister, Joanne Irvine, of Toronto, Canada; son, Averardo “Aldo” Pascarella (Christine), daughter, Leonora Meyerhoff (Tido), both of Greenwich, daughter, Cassandra Berger (Gideon) of Manhattan; and eight grandchildren, Isabella, Marcello, Gabriella, Tessa, Constanza, Penelope, Cosima, and Henry II “Harrison.”
Henry loved to recount amusing stories and clip newspaper articles for family and friends. His was a bold and courageous spirit.
