Real Food Is Fuel

On May 17th, Lauren Berger and Marla Felton two entrepreneurs who created the REAL Cookie, and advocates for natural eating and believe it is vital to educate younger generations about the importance of natural eating. The entrepreneurs visited Julian Curtis Elementary School and spoke to 5th-grade students about natural eating versus unnatural eating. They followed the lesson with a trip to Whole Foods to help students apply what they learned in class in a real life scenario.

At the age of three, Ed Hajim was kidnapped by his father, driven cross-country from St. Louis to Los Angeles, and told his mother was dead. Hajim’s story is an improbable one of then being bounced from foster homes to orphanages after his father left him to go to sea as a radio operator.
