On Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. the American Red Cross Metro NY North Chapter will present the Red Cross Lifesaving Award to two heroes at the YMCA of Greenwich, life guards Lauren Chiappetta and Thomas Massam, for their lifesaving efforts last November with the American Red Cross Lifesaving Award for Professional Responders.
This recognition is awarded to individuals who save or sustain a life as part of their employment or while on duty. Their action exemplifies the highest degree of concern of one human being for another who is in distress.
