Mary Bocchino, a longtime Greenwich resident, passed away April 9 surrounded by her loving family. She was 91.
Mary was born Nov. 10, 1930, to Michael & Ruth Dwyer. For many years she worked as a switchboard operator in New York City and was also very active as a mother in the New Lebanon School and PTA. Mary had served as a Den Mother for Troop 1. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Herbert Bocchino.
Mary is survived by her loving sons, Thomas Bocchino (Beth), Edward Bocchino (Thomas), Herbert Bocchino (Elaine), Guy Bocchino (Jenny) and Mike Bocchino (Shannon), 7 dear grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
To honor Mary’s life, family and friends will gather on Tuesday 4-8pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
