Joseph G. Chairet, Jr., age 77, passed away on March 24, with his loving wife, Sharon, by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Joseph Chairet, Sr. of Greenwich. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon (Moe) Chairet, his loving daughter, Suzanne (Chairet) Moskowitz and her husband, Steven. He is also survived by his loving granddaughters, Kyra and Alanna. Joe is also survived by his two sisters, Regina and her husband, Bob Imbres of Greenwich, Georgiann and her husband, Richie Bykowski of Sarasota, FL., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born in 1945, Joe was a lifelong resident of Greenwich/Cos Cob. He attended Greenwich Public Schools, graduating in 1963 from GHS.
With great pride, he started his own business, Joseph Chairet Plumbing and Heating. He enjoyed his profession and was highly regarded by all.
Joe’s family meant the world to him. His kind smile and love of life will always be fondly remembered.
A funeral mass for Joe will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 10am at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery located on 203 North St. in Rye, NY.
