Anne Kelly

Anne Kelly, of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 4.

For 54 years, Anne shared a loving, blessed life with the late Frank R. Kelly. Anne devoted her life to her family, leaving seven children: Dianne (Peter) Doherty, Bluffton, SC, Frank (Tanya) Kelly, Greenwich, Tom (Susie) Kelly, Ridgefield, Kathleen Kelly (Eric Larson), Telluride, CO, Patrick Kelly (Bethany Blake), Boxford, MA, Mick (Alicia) Kelly, Eagle, CO and Mary Kelly. She also leaves her beloved 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be forever missed by family, including her dear sister Lois (John) Mc Donald, Merrick, NY, and in-laws Patricia and Paul Kelly, Callawassie Island, SC, Kay Hucke, Cape Coral, FL and Noreen Kelly, Calverton, NY, as well as many nieces, nephews.

Anne’s neighbors and close friends from the quilting group in Greenwich, ‘The Rosebuds’ and her Book Club in Rose Hill always appreciated her quick, quiet wit. Very devoted to her faith, she was active in her parish communities, teaching catechism at St. Paul’s, Greenwich and most recently becoming a dedicated parishioner of St. Gregory the Great, where she enjoyed reading to children at the parish school. Anne also loved volunteering at the Bluffton Habitat for Humanity. Anne’s legacy of love and commitment to family will be carried on in her loving children and grandchildren. May she be forever in His loving Presence.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated on March 12 in St. Andrew’s Chapel, Bluffton.
