We know that everyone is holding Ukraine in their hearts right now, but may not know where or how to get involved. We’ve compiled a list of verified places you can donate to to make a difference in the lives of Ukrainians fighting to defend their home as well as those who have been displaced by the invasion. The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to open a special fundraising account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This decision comes in response to the armed aggression by Russia and the renewed threat to Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity.

“Hospitallers” is a volunteer paramedic organization founded by Yana Zinkevych at the beginning of 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea, and initiated warfare actions in the South of Ukraine with the assistance of the Russia-quasi-controlled forces. The organization members are volunteers, providing first aid at the frontline. Hospitallers have completed more than 3000 evacuations. Sirius takes care of over 3,000 pets every day. The best way to help Sirius and the animals they help is to donate. The homeless animal shelter and charitable foundation Sirius were founded in 2000 by Oleksandra Mezinova in the village Yasnogorodka, Kyiv region.

Happy Paw began with custody of shelters and eventually grew into a large number of projects and initiatives. All Happy Paw shelters have staff around the clock with no sign of evacuating the animals yet.

Blue/Yellow is a non-governmental non-profit organization that supports Ukraine, its Armed Forces and the civil population in Donbass. Blue/Yellow has provided almost 1 million USD worth of humanitarian aid and military equipment. Blue/Yellow was founded in Lithuania, but has established a wide network in Ukraine and internationally.

Orphans’ Aid Society (OAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing charitable relief to orphans living in Ukraine. OAS focuses on children outside of state funded institutions, informing their approach of providing direct financial assistance to guardians and relatives of orphans.

BStrong provides emergency assistance to people in crisis all over the world. BStrong works in partnership with Global Empowerment Mission and is focused on getting refugees out while getting supplies into Ukraine. BStrong and Global Empowerment Mission have created a Welcome Center in Medyka, Poland on the Ukraine Border. 100% of your donation goes directly to the effort.
