Gov. Lamont, Americares to Discuss Humanitarian Relief for Ukrainians

Today, Thursday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m., Governor Ned Lamont will hold a news conference at the global headquarters of Americares in Stamford to highlight efforts the nonprofit organization is taking to provide humanitarian relief for individuals impacted by the escalating crisis in Ukraine.

The organization is sending an emergency response team to Poland to coordinate the shipment of medical supplies and mobilize emergency medical teams that will help those in need of health services.

Anyone interested in donating to the Americares Ukraine Crisis Fund to support these humanitarian efforts should visit americares.org/ukraine.
