To the Editor,
Tuesday is an important election for the candidates but also for the constituents of the 36th district. I am supporting Ryan Fazio and here are the reasons why.
- This community is his home. He grew up here- he knows our public schools intimately- he started his career in Stamford.
- He is humble and hard working. He does not take credit for the accomplishments achieved by a team of people.
- He has been endorsed by many but the fact that he was endorsed by the Stamford and Greenwich police as well as the CT. Realtors Association speaks volumes.
- His youth is inspiring- maybe we need more than just the “adults” at the table to put our state on a better path.
- It is not good for the State to be governed by one party for so long. If you agree with the way that Ned Lamont is running the state than you do not want to give the senate veto power by adding one more democrat to the caucus. If you support Ned, you actually want to vote for the Republican. If you do not support Ned, you want to vote for the Republican.
- Ryan has rolled up his sleeves for many years- I especially loved watching him volunteer during the pandemic delivering meals and masks in our district.
- I like Ryan. He listens. He connects. He is solution oriented. He knows how to work with others to help fix our financial issues (which will be even more profound when Washington isn’t bailing us out). He is honest. He will serve our district respectfully and proudly.
- And finally, as a Mother- we do a lot to keep our children safe, to provide the best education and assure an economic environment that is hopeful and hiring. I believe Ryan will achieve all of this and more for the next generation and for many generations to come.
On Tuesday, I hope you will join me in supporting Ryan Fazio for state Senate representing the 36th district.
