Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce that Vanessa L. Maczko has joined the firm’s Greenwich, Connecticut, office as a partner in the Private Client Services Department.
With extensive experience in lifetime planning, Maczko focuses her practice on advising moderate- to high-net-worth individuals and families globally on multigenerational asset transfers, such as closely held business interests, marketable securities, art collections, real estate, tangible personal property and insurance policies.

The department provides a full spectrum of private client services — in collaboration with clients’ other consultants and advisers — to craft seamless and effective estate planning strategies that address both economic and non-economic concerns.
Maczko joins from Proskauer Rose LLP, where she advised clients on lifetime and testamentary multigenerational transfers. Before that, was an associate at Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP, where she focused her practice on wills and trusts.
Maczko earned her LL.M. from New York University, J.D. from Harvard Law School, and B.A. from the University of Michigan. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York.
