During the last few weeks of June Rotary Clubs around the world are thanking their President, officers and board of directors for their commitment to their club and Rotary goals and projects. The Rotary Club of Greenwich installed their new president, officers and board of directors June 30 at the Riverside Yacht Club. Over 40 Rotarians and their guests attended as outgoing President Joe Benoit recapped the programs and organizations that the Greenwich club supported this past year. Past presidents were recognized and thanked for their services, as were Diane Fox, retiring Foundation Treasurer and Dieter Blennemann retiring Foundation chairperson.
Dr Jack Solomon, past District Governor, installed the new president, Prem Itharat and his board of directors.
The Greenwich Rotary Club was founded in April 1921. Dr Solomon presented the Club a certificate that recognized 100 years of service to our community.
