Tomorrow, July 7th, the Town of Greenwich will hold a special event to kick off Governor Ted Lamont’s Summer at the Museum program. The initiative enables Connecticut children 18 and under, plus one accompanying adult, to receive free admission at museums throughout the state this summer. The event takes place at the Greenwich Historical Society at 10:30 am. The Connecticut Lt. Governor, State and Town officials will be present.
To fund this initiative Greenwich Historical Society and more than 90 other participating Connecticut museums were awarded a substantial grant from the state and federal COVID relief funds, as part of the Governor’s larger plan to provide children and families with engaging summer enrichment and learning experiences in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Date: Wednesday, July 7
Time: 10:30 am
Place: Greenwich Historical Society, 47 Strickland Rd., Cos Cob
