Please join the Independence Day Association in raising the flag on the steps of Town Hall on July 4. The flag-raising will take place on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., and will be a celebration of Independence Day.
At the event, the Greenwich Scouts will parade the flags of the thirteen colonies, remarks will be made by Greenwich representatives, and the community will gather to salute patriots who served in the cause of the American Revolution, as well as to honor veterans and descendants of the early settlers of Greenwich.
The Sound Beach Community Band will perform at the event, and cake can be enjoyed inside Town Hall after the ceremony.
