Oddward “John” Johannes Wikse, 85, was born in Greenwich, CT on Oct. 16, 1935 and peacefully passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
John attended Greenwich High School and then went on to get his Bachelor’s in Accounting at Bryant College. He married Patricia House on Aug. 30, 1958 and together shared 61 years of marriage. During his career, he worked as an accountant/controller at Arnold Bakers for 40 years.
John is survived by his wife, Patricia Wikse, children, John Charles Wikse (Janet Schlosser) and Janice (John) Schaaf and five grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Idun Allerton, Sigrid Bray and Carl Wikse and several nieces and nephews.
