Greenwich Library Children and Teen Programs for May

nationallibrarybookshelvesliterature

This May, the Greenwich Library Children’s Room is offering virtual events focused on science, music, making things, reading stories and discussing books.

Take your pick of many story times to choose from this month, including Storytime with Ms. Lauren on Monday mornings at 10:00, Storytime with Ms. Melissa on Wednesdays at 10:00 and Morning Storytime with Cos Cob Library on Fridays at 10:00.

Our friends at Mad Science are back with Marvels of Motion on May 1 at 11 a.m. Children will learn about Newton’s Law of Motion in motion and get a hands-on look at physics, gravity and energy. Watch out for the exploding soda!

Music fans can move and groove with the indie pop-rock band Bee Parks and the Hornets on Wednesday, May 19, at 4:00 p.m. Bee Parks and the Hornets combine rockin’ music, puppetry and audience participation to inspire young people to get up and move — both with their feet and in their communities. Don’t miss out on this rockin’ good time courtesy of Cos Cob Library.

Registration for all of the above programs, and those listed below, is available through Greenwich Library’s online calendar at greenwichlibrary.org.
