Meet Regina Finn from Sacred Heart Greenwich. She is one of the first students to be inducted as a member of the Student Journalism Institute, from the Greenwich Sentinel Foundation. She will be joining a select group of students this spring. Be on the lookout for exciting youth columns and perspectives to come.
“I am honored to be selected as a member of the inaugural SJI not only since it provides me an opportunity to grow as a writer, but also because it provides me a space to share my unique perspective with community members and my views may resonate with some. For me, SJI provides me a space to share my passions in a hope to educate or inspire others to learn more. Specifically, I have become interested in environmental studies which I think would be interesting to share considering the ranging types of land Greenwich has to offer: Tod’s Point to Mianus River Park. I am honored to be part of and contribute to the newly formed SJI.” Regina Finn
